I listened to “The Burning Wire” on my iPhone, thinking it’d be a good way to pass the time painlessly for a few hours while I cleaned house. I was wrong, it wasn’t “painless” – the way Dennis Boutsikaris read it made it so full of tension and horror that I listened to the all 13 hours in one day.
Makes me paranoid to ever touch anything metal out in public again. Great storytelling read by one of the best in the business.
